Hotel Oyster

Concept Design, Interiors, Lighting Design

The design process focuses on the transformation of a housing complex into a hotel.

One of the concept’s main points is to highlight the water element, while the lighting study creates water reflections on the horizontal surfaces of the first floor that are around the hotel and are now visible from the busy road.

In the lobby, the higher space contributes to the creation of a special bright ceiling that is the foundation of the lighting study. The facades maintain their proportions and materials, while vertical metal surfaces are positioned at the balconies, acting as optical dividers that define and filter the view to the mainstream block of flats across the street.

In the interior design, the transformation of the houses into suites now follows the needs of the hotel way of living.
